Guillotine of Sunlight
A single work occupying both sides of a wall at SFMOMA. Working with dozens of colors and a crew of 40, I composed 1.4 million sheets of paper into a single unified work occupying two gallery spaces. A museum guard confided in me that he’d never had to work so hard to keep people from touching the art.
